Nintendo DS behind Sony PSP for first time
October 30th, 2008 by admin
For the week of October 13 to the 19th of October, the Sony Playstation Portable has sold more hardware units than the Nintendo DS or the Nintendo DS Lite. According to sales data from r4ds, the Sony Playstation Portable sold about 159,816 units compared to the Nintendo DS, which sold about 29,839 units. Although Nintendo probably has nothing to worry about in regards to this report, but they should take note that the Sony Playstation Portable is starting to catch up and if Nintendo wants to remain on top, they better come out with DSi and they should make more video games for the Nintendo DS.
