Finding clients with a reverse email lookup

I was having a chat with a lawyer at a cocktail party over the weekend and he was telling me how he used Reverse Email Lookup to find the details of a person that one of his clients was trying to sue. He told me how he got the details of the company online and simply gave them details of a person that had sent his client an email. After a couple hours, he received a mail from them with the last known email address, telephone number and even a residing address. Needless to say that his client was sorted after proceeding with legal action and he now had another method of getting details for his clients.
