It made a lot of legal sense for us

I am thirty-five years old and I have had a great career. I have also made some very good investments along the way, so I am financially secure. My fiance is also well to do and we felt since we had so many assets to protect we agreed it was wise to keep them separate after our marriage by using a prenuptial agreement. We contacted a San Diego Attorney to help use write them. Our friends think it is somewhat cold, but we both have and equal amount to lose so we felt it was easier than fighting for things should something not work out. We also agreed that anything we bought together after the marriage would be purchased with equal shares. Thus divided equally should we divorce. I think it is a very smart move for both of us.
