Uni Burglary Compensated by Home Insurance

When I went off to Uni I took loads of thing with me that would remind me of home. My room was pretty cluttered but it was definitely worth it. I was staying in university halls that were located just outside of the university campus. They were low-rise buildings that didn’t have that much security but I had always assumed they would be pretty safe. That was until my whole floor got burgled and half my stuff was stolen. I was gutted as they took my laptop, which had a whole term’s worth of work on it. My parents had taken out home insurance for me when I went away so I was able to claim for the goods that were stolen but I am still really upset that it happened.
