Shopping Around for Auto Loans

You can almost taste it. You’re at the dealership, your hand is resting on the hood of what you just know in your heart will be your new car in the next few days. The dealer is eager to finish things up, and begins to rush you into discussions about financing. Before you automatically accept Auto Loans from the dealer, stop. Take a deep breath, get a cool drink of water, and tell the salesperson you’ll be back the next day. Go home and begin examining alternative lending options. These may be banks, credit unions, or peer to peer. Your options are extensive. Don’t be roped in too soon until you know what is best for you in your unique situation.
