Rock Stars are Nice But Give me a Jazz Guitarist

During the years my daughter was growing up I enjoyed every stage she went through. However, I dreaded the teenage years. All of my friends’ children seemed to have gone from pleasant kids to growling strangers who wore odd clothes and listened to loud rock music. My daughter turned thirteen and was as sweet as ever. Two years later she asked for a guitar and a blues guitar lesson for her birthday. She practiced hard, became very good,and preferred mellow sounds to loud. She cannot understand why anyone would want rock when they could play the blues. My husband and I think we are either very lucky or did something right.
